Surgery
Dr. Lawrence Kadic is originally from Belgium and a graduate of Ghent University. Following his graduation, he completed a rotating internship at Dubai Equine Hospital in the United Arab Emirates before beginning his training in the United States with a surgery internship at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute and a large animal clinical fellowship at Oregon State University. Dr. Kadic went on to complete an Equine Surgery Residency and a combined Master of Science degree at Louisiana State University, where he also became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. After his residency, he served as a Clinical Instructor at LSU before joining the University of Florida as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Large Animal Surgery. Dr. Kadic's main professional interests are all aspects of equine surgery, with a particular focus on orthopedic surgery and the advancement of innovative surgical techniques to improve patient outcomes.
