John Greene, MVB

Dr. Greene grew up on a dairy and beef farm in Kilkenny, Ireland and began riding horses at 8 years old. He attended Coláiste Pobail Osraí and then University College Dublin, graduating in 2022 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Greene completed a Field internship and an Internal Medicine fellowship at Hagyard. He then spent time in Australia and Ireland before returning to Hagyard in 2026 as an associate veterinarian. Dr. Greene's main interests lie in reproduction, sales work and conformation. Outside of horses, he has a strong interest in cattle farming and enjoys sea swimming and watching rugby in his spare time.
