Dr. Lu is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her interest in how animal physiology has the potential to impact human medical and biotechnology fields is what swayed her to become a veterinarian in college. Upon choosing where to practice, Hagyard stuck out to her because of our veterinarian's kindheartedness. Her favorite cases are those that deal with the subfertility in mares and stallions. Outside of work, Dr. Lu enjoys meditation, yoga and spending time outdoors. She cannot live without a quality ultrasound machine and her yoga mat. She hopes to one day return to Smith River, Montana to fly fish.
