Dr.Claire E. Foster is a Mississippi native who attended Mississippi State University for both undergraduate and veterinary medicine studies. Dr. Foster’s interest in horses started at a young age as she competed in western riding events through 4-H and club shows. During her high school years, Dr. Foster wasan avid barrel racer. Dr. Foster is a familiar face at Hagyard after being Dr. Luke H. Fallon’s technician during the 2019 breeding season, as well as an ambulatory field intern from 2023-2024. She enjoys all aspects of field practice but is particularly interested in broodmare reproductive management and Thoroughbred sales. In her free time, Dr. Foster enjoys spending time withher loved ones, keeping her terrier, Newt, out of trouble, and riding her Quarter Horse, Martha!
