Camilla Jamieson

Mcgee Medicine
Dr. Jamieson graduated from the University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science in the United Kingdom in 2011. She then completed an ambulatory sports medicine and racehorse internship in Sussex before returning to the United States to complete her specialist training in large animal internal medicine. She obtained her board certification with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) in 2018 and spent a year in private practice. Her love for foals and equine research drew her to internal medicine and anesthesia services opportunities at the Equine Veterinary Medical Center in Doha, Qatar. After spending four years in Qatar, she has moved back to the United States and is currently studying for her certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Equine Anesthesia under the RCVS. She is also working on a number of research projects in collaboration with the EVMC team.
In her free time, Dr. Jamieson enjoys riding her horse, Architect. If she’s not at the barn, you can find her at the gym or on a body of water with her kayak/paddleboard!
