Davidson Surgery Center
Hagyard's Davidson Surgery Center performs more than 6,000 equine surgeries every year, making Hagyard one of the largest and busiest equine surgery centers in the world. The center houses world-class equine surgeons and raises the bar for emergency & elective equine care worldwide.

Our team has an enormous amount of experience from tens of thousands of equine surgeries spanning decades, and we've compiled all that experience into a superior medical model for your equine. Hagyard has developed several new procedures and techniques at this very facility, including techniques that are now used all over the world. And all this expertise is complimented by state-of-the-art medical equipment and diagnostics, including scintigraphy, digital radiology, ultrasound, and MRI.

McGee Medicine Center
The McGee Medicine Center is a full-service equine emergency hospital that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The Medicine Center specializes in critical care: equine suffering from acute or chronic disease or injury. The emergency team is on call 24/7 to attend to your equine.
Each year, Hagyard and this center oversees 2,500 medical and critical care cases, more than 200 of which were critically ill newborn foals. First we diagnose the problem with advanced state-of-the-art equipment including 4 ultrasound machines, 2 EKGs, endoscopes, 2 x-ray machines and a laser. Our computerized whiteboard system is superior to many human hospitals, allowing technicians and doctors instant access to equine records and treatments from our extensive and comprehensive surgery knowledge base.

The McGee Medicine Center is comprised of four units: Intermediate Care, Intensive Care, Isolation and Neurological Care. Each unit ranges from 2-14 custom stalls, and provides the highest quality of care available. Your equine will be treated like royalty, with our stall features ranging from Tempu-Pedic mattresses, cotton blankets, heat lamps, oxygen feeds, climate-controlled environments, rubber flooring, hydraulic lifts, and much more.
